Understanding PSICOTSI (part 2)

Hello hattrick managers, one more article to help you reach the higher leagues and stay on top of your opponents!

I have received some very interesting information on how PsicoTSI (the skills sub levels tool) works in details and I would like to share it with you. It explains the exact formulas used by Re4Ver when creating it a few years earlier.

A word of warning though, this article is mostly for people understanding a minimum of programming…

Countering All out Attack

A few weeks ago you read an article on how to effectively use all out attack (AoA or AO) to get good results in hattrick. Despite its various advantages and may be also because of its success, today, we will go over the ways of countering teams using this tactic.

Scottish manager Talkingcat said once about AoA that “if your opponent can’t do anything about it, you should use it“, of course this implied that on the other hand the tactic could be countered effectively.

Discover Hattrick Hub

Hattrick Hub is an interesting initiative which “is primarily directed at collecting and archiving ideas, suggestions and feature requests that would otherwise be lost between the vast amount of other forum messages.”

In that web site you’ll discover a lot of ideas that have been developed by hattrick managers in the whole worls, you’ll be able to comment on them and rank them. Although the web site is not run by the HTs, its structure and collaborative approach make it a very efficient lobby in the hattrick community. Add your voice there will help improving hattrick in the way you would like to see it!

Effective All Out Attack

Lately many teams in hattrick have been very successful using very offensive tactics, with nearly no defense. Those teams have gained a lot of exposure by beating seemingly stronger team who could do nothing against this extreme tactic.

This article will describe what it takes to build an efficient All Out Attack (AO or AOA) team so that, may be, you’ll become as succesfull!

Regainer specialty revealed

For those who have not followed the long quest to understand the use of the Regainer specialty, be informed that they are officially now “players who regain health somewhat faster than others”.

This has been confirmed in HT-Tjecken’s statement in conference post 7963000.878.

A whole list of Regainer players and some background information is available on hattrick’s wiki.

Interesting HT-Jonas Interview

Beltrick made an interesting ineterview of HT-Jonas in this article. Various subjects are covered in this interview, from the evolution of hattrick both as a game and a company, to the team of HTs.

Understanding PSICOTSI

PsicoTSI is a great tool that made sub-skills prediction available to everyone. With so many people using the tool, it is interesting to question how the tool works.

First of all, credit must go to Re4VeR of the spanish team LPC TeaM (teamid 121872) and the other managers who helped develop the tool back in 2005, qnd who made this tool a freeware.

This article aims at giving you a relatively precise idea of the algorithm and formula used within PSICOTSI.

And Part 2 reveals the formula.

Interesting Ratsia Interview

As I mentioned in my post on the hattrick managers i had bookmarked for their quality posting in conferences , it turns out that Ratsia (FC Vompatti) is the most bookmarked manager outside of the HT- team. This is indeed a sign of the quality of his posts.

I also found an interview of Ratsia in this entry of Hattrick Monitor, which means I was not the first to think to do an interview of him!

Bobymoore’s team early success recipe

In today’s post, I’ll explain the various steps that lead my team the Luxembourg Soccer Club (LSC) to early successes in its first seasons, including a cup win, promotion to division 1 and reaching the 2nd place in the country.

First, of all, for all of you who are thinking that their teams are created far too late to compete with the top level teams, I have to say that I understand their feelings. When I started hattrick, it was not easy to start half a season after the other main teams, who had benefited from high selling prices for all luxembourgish players and who also had experience in the game before.

Monitor your Skilltrading Profit
