January 6, 2007 in Lux, National Teams
In our election of the U20 coach which brought Woozie to the head of the team (for what I hope will be the first qualification of the team to the next round) the participation rate has once more
65 votes were casted out of 395 teams (16.5%), this is still significantly higher than other older countries.
In this linked article of Hattrick Monitor, you can see that the situation in larger and older countries is significantly worse dropping even to 3.8% votes casted in Sweden!
This is for sure one of the motivation for the HT team to review and most probably develop a new voting system as half-announced by HT-Tjecken in the Global Conferences a few days ago [messageid=7561047.228].
In addition to this new system, it will be our role as luxembourgish managers reading the conferences to help other managers to get involved, motivated and also demystifying the job. As our history showed in the previous seasons a young hattrick managers can take over the national team if he has great motivation and is a good worker!
Of course we have a higher voting participation ratio than Sweden - we have had sexier candidates for a looong time. ;-p
